    Antarctica

    Highlights of the frozen continent

    Antarctic Circle Expedition

This is one of the longest expedition cruises to Antarctica, departing in the ‘summer months’. We will attempt to cross the Antarctic Circle to reach beautiful Marguerite Bay.

Start and end point in Buenos Aires

The Argentine capital is the birthplace of the tango, home to passionate football fans and a global center for all things cultural and culinary. After an overnight stay in the city, you will take the domestic flight to Ushuaia where you will board MS Roald Amundsen.

Antarctica: a place of pure wonder

Get ready for ten full days in Antarctica! Here, immense icebergs, whales, many species of seabirds and colonies of penguins with their newborn chicks await us. The milder weather at this time of year may have created a passage through the thick sea ice south of the Arctic Circle, all the way to Marguerite Bay, where we can visit remote research stations. The expedition team will provide interesting lectures and presentations in order to get to know this special continent even better.
